My husband thinks that we should keep on looking for a deal that will allow us to have a positive cash flow or at least something that will put us in the low negative hundreds. 

A few FU questions:Rental Comp Inaccuracy: Good idea on looking up Asset address and Comp Address in google maps to see if in comparable area based on whats around the site. 

I have been interested in doing wholesaling houses for a while now, and have been actively been working on looking for deals.

That seller is not motivated enough to accept your offer right now... move on, look at other deals and keep an eye on that property, it may still be on the market in 30 or 60 daysCongrats on submitting an offer!!!
