My question is: is there anything against bringing an air mattress and suitcase to lodge at the property about 4 days a week and live at my parent's place for the other 3 days while my house is being rehabbed?

All food and lodging is provided as well as a small stipend for other needs.  

You'll be at the mercy of guests choosing to (1) travel to your area of the world, and then (2) choose you over all other lodging options.
