I would argue that your duty as a human being at this time is to the children there and not the mother, and if you allow the situation to go on you're enabling an obviously unfit mother.

but lets bring some humanity into the equation here.. any one that would even think or want to sue.. well that to me is about as well i wont say but you know my thoughts.. pretty low brow.

It is human nature to justify our past mistakes.

But they also sometimes cannot do things that require a live human (e.g. running errands to get things, etc.).

(Privacy law , Human Rights and Federal legislation) Lawyers will make lots of money just around this matter ! 

Lawyers are humans with problems too! 

Your tenants will get a kick out of it and not be offended as long as you give them this technical information about camera sensors.Finally, the human eye and brain are still much more advanced and capable than any lenses and cameras.
