I am not a big fan of high cost software that runs on a desktop, I much prefer cloud apps, especially ones that sync and work seamlessly over multiple devices.

Jorge is right, most banks will determine how good an offer is based on their value (Some banks do desktop appraisals and some do BPO/appraisals depending on the investor).
