But the reality is with so many they just don't understand what they are signing and just go with the idea of whats it going to cost me a month without any after or forethought to cost over the life of the loan.Not to mention no money down or cash back loans.. all of this was just a ticking time bomb.And of course with the backend commissions available to mortgage brokers on the sub prime deals and the fact that in most states MLO were not even licensed. you just had a recipe for bad behavior... and failed industry...

Unfortunately well meaning parents enable the behavior.

Lies and stories.So, I really did not expect the change in behaviors with a new person or loss of one person. 

@Jacob BegYou've allowed the behavior for a long time.

Once you allowed them to come and do the work after the no shows and excuses, it was almost as if you were okay with their behavior.  

Even if just 10-20 percent of people change behaviors it has a ripple effect throughout. 

I have seen landlords on BP openly admit to this selfish behavior.

It is not money that solves the problem, it is learning the right behaviors around money.

Talk to your realtor to pass on the message to the seller about this unacceptable behavior.
