You are effectively paying the same amount of money assuming the interest is the same.

If this is representative of the construction industry around other markets in the nation and assuming many of these workers are undocumented (they may very well be legally working here, but having been through the immigration process myself, that would be difficult) the impact on construction would be massive. 

Assuming it wasn't addressed in your PSA specifically then it likely should be them, but the reality is it is likely you.

I wouldn't assume you are not financeable without speaking with a lender first.
