@Byron StoddardDoing a BRRRR and having a self-employed job are two separate items on a tax return and likely will not impact either or.Did you provide each CPA a copy of your current/prior year return or give them an analysis of what your return entails in addition to what your goals/plans are for your self-employed business?

I think one of the better strategies for you will be to house-hack which entails buying a residential multi (2-4 units), moving into one of the units while renting out the others.
