It is next door to a JCPenny.The neighborhood is a clutter of all popular retails: Walmart, Costco, JCPenny, Movie theater, popular eating places, etc...

I have sent notes to tenants asking them to straighten up or I would dispose of the items that were cluttering the common areas.I believe it is important to give tenants a storage area...and it is not unrealistic to ask them to help keep common areas clear.

I think that the craigslist and MLS rental ads in my area (Hudson County, NJ and NYC) prove that most landlords and agents are still underestimating the value of quality photography.Putting ourselves in the shoes of the renter makes the decision to hire a professional easy, I'm more likely to go see a place that looks clean and bright vs. dark, cluttered and distorted.

I have been looking in another state and it is not as cluttered and the deals seem better.Their purchasing process was a little maddening, but I was not in any hurry for both properties.
