Tired of working like crazy. 

It looked like the owner is just tired of managing it himself and could not keep up with the maintenance.

From what im finding, some home owners are just "tired of their home", "in a financial bind and need quick money (regardless if they get the value of their home or not?)"

She was managing it for them but she was tired.

I am now an accountant for a state agency, and I am just tired of working for others and having nothing to show for it.

About 80% of my clients managed for themselves until they got tired of spending all their money correcting their mistakes.

You should manage your first property to get use to what  has to be dealt with and when you get tired of doing that, hire an experienced property management company to do that for you and make sure they understand your goals.Don't only track yourself but see what the others are doing in your area to keep their occupancy up.   

The other 2 groups of buyers are far more forgiving plus there are a lot more nice or slightly 'tired' properties, than there are falling apart dumps.
