Email from management when I was away for a weekend saying that a neighbor called and said they smelt something weird ( I was gone a day by this point) and maintenance went into my apartment and found my freezer door was "left ope"n and chicken was rotten...in a day...next day I find my gf's $1,000 ring was "missing"...after searching all over, finally found it tucked in the back of the 3rd drawer down in the dresser it was sitting on..hmmmm4.

An example would be a house tucked behind another and you cross the other property to get out because it's a shorter path than going around.

This does not only refer to the city of Los Angeles mandate, where soft story retrofitting is already required and owners have 7 years to remedy, this was a multi family unit in San Gabriel with tuck under parking.
