I would really like to see - and appreciate - a broad discussion, to hear the views of lawyers and CPA's, on the pros and cons of LLC's, Landtrusts, personal ownership, S-Corps, partnerships, and how to use them to strike that best balance of both reduction in liability exposure and best tax planning.

Every state has it's issues and not one is perfect.The reason everyone is focused on oil is before there was a wait period of about 3 months to see if the reduction in oil prices was a long or short term thing.

During the audit I filed an amendment for a home office deduction which they allowed, (which also explains the 25% reduction in recorded mileage).I was finally excused after paying what I thought was a significant tax, penalty & interest assessment. 14 months later they returned the entire amount plus interest having decided I was in fact over-assessed????

Many parts of the city are zoned with no height restrictions, but quickly become unfeasible once you begin to pencil out the parking requirements per unit of housing constructed.Given than 70%+ of Los Angeles citizens still commute, it doesn't look like dramatic reduction of parking requirements are going to happen anytime soon.How are folks in other densely populated areas addressing parking to squeeze out more units?
