We have it listed as sleeping 6, but I'm sure an air mattress for an extra 1-2 people would not be a big deal. 

I dont want to buy a unit because you are not buying property or land, its just 'air rights'... essentially a relatively small apartment that is controlled by other people.Any what thats what I have seen

I'll also need a plumber and a carpenter for some more skilled work.I'm going to likely stay in the units or an air bnb as I do the remodel, but once it's all settled I'll be back in the Hudson valley/NYC. 

Air b and b, Verbo, etc...Just curious, anyone out there experience a tenant that didn't leave after his/her stay?

Purchase price: $280,000 Prior to purchasing Bel Air, it was evident that the property was in need of a top to bottom renovation.

Without including capital gains ... currently I’ve had it as an air bnb bringing in roughly 2k a month . 

This property is from the 20s so probably looking at asbestos and lead-based paint, removing the boiler and radiator, adding central heat and air, as well as some excavation work where an in-ground pool was taken out but not filled in.Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

So, we had an electrician come over and to our surprise, due to a dedicated circuit that was installed for the air conditioner unit (needs repaired, but circuit is fine), the process of wiring/installing electric baseboard heaters is fairly cheap and easy to do.Having said that, I am racking my brain for possible pros and cons of adding these heat sources and being able to call these "bedrooms".

I install central Air and Heat in beautiful properties, so I'm currently working as an real estate investor part time.
