Similar to what you're seeing it was the wind damage that was the killer and I think added another ~$7K per year to a couple of properties that I was looking at. 

Hopefully everything is on the up-and-up, but if it's not, you want to have as much forewarning and ammunition as possible in case this turns into an eviction or similar.

I looked into other projects recently built by a developer we would like to recommend and determined they typically complete projects of similar size and type inside of two years.I understand many variables can affect both demolition and construction time, but I am only looking for a general rule I could apply in the absence of reliably sourced data.Thanks for your time!

As I'm in a similar situation my truck is almost payed off and ill have the option to buy a house soon.

In the near future I am thinking of doing something similar with my duplex.
