The local REIA's are where us expereienced folks hang out. 

Except that this foreclosure of the first would necessitate a public sale at which the bidding for a $500k house needing virtually no repairs would go much higher than $300k.

Seems like a great way to get your feet wet in investing and rehabbing, get comfortable with the process, and then expand into different markets, like San Antonio, once you've got the hang of it.

They'll leave you hanging with thousands and thousands in losses.

we just bought 89 lots in Canby that's were I will be hanging my hat next 3 years..  

Would love to find a meet up that wouldn’t mind letting a newbie hang out for a bit.

There may be room there that I could hang a laundry bag so tenants could toss abandoned clothing into that.

I know its easier said than done but try to hang in there but maybe work to stabilize rather than sell?
