I am wondering if anyone has been and this situation and has ideas on how to handle this.

Depending on where you are looking, inventory for 1-4 units can be a challenge as a lot of the NW suburbs are all single family homes unless you are further NW like Rockford or Elgin or something like that. 

No one talks about it because they talk about the process, the asset, and the numbers (all relevant), but all you do is focus on the spreadsheet and the photos; you will miss the issue.

A 3br home on the east side will be less per month vs a home on the west side.  

I was wondering if there's is any information about this group and what it is they do... and if it's worth paying their membership fees There’s a couple of members on here that are a part of or have been part of lifestyles unlimited.

You're spot on with how private money lending offers speed and flexibility compared to traditional banks.

I plan on getting the other one added soon.

But I draw the line when there is risk of damage to the property, annoyance to the neighbors, health concerns, pests, etc.

And if you do not think you will get caught, a lot of nosey neighbors will call you out on it (we did not rent a basement but we had built a shed as an outdoor dog house that was heated and air conditioned and someone called about that on us...).
