There is no "the" software to go to in this industry.

@Carol Labbe while I can't speak to your specific county, as someone in the title industry, I have had many files put on hold due to county closures(damn you South Carolina!)

I’m curious if you’re running in to this from a paradigm perspective, or a result of the current impact of COVID-19 on the mortgage industry.  

Summation:  There is no protection for property owners from the appraisal industry where there are clearly people who want to control the price of properties and hold the keys when people are trying to buy or refi properties. 

I want to learn more about the industry and continue to refine my skills.

I've loved growing in this industry with you and watching you strive for your goals while casting your cares on Him.

I've been in the contracting industry for 15 years, and I still stay away from new builds or knockdowns due to how many moving parts are required.

I'm probably more on the conservative side in terms of this recommendation, but if you find a 9-5 and invest on the side at first or find a way to get a job related to real estate, you can use that income to qualify for loans while getting industry experience.
