I don’t have the money to pay a lawyer to draw something up right now.I’m especially concerned about protecting this asset as the local newspaper published my name address and purchase amount so now anyone who is looking to slip and fall knows where to go.

Read your local building/zoning/permit codes, and speak to someone 'downtown' about the situation without giving them the actual address. 

The previous owner took great care of the property with the exception of a few deferred maintenance issues with 1 unit already being addressed last summer.The lender would not finance the property in my company name so it's been in my personal name.
