Jordan,You may want to look into the land records for liens, check with the local building department and compare any new renovations with permitting history, check with code compliance for any open cases or history of violations and check with the health department for potential of issues with the septic system.

I have to say @Ken Rishel has given some great information for MH operators and recent compliance matters, many probably benefit more than they realize as staying legal isn't really putting money in your pocket, but a penny saved is a penny earned and his advice could easily save others tens of thousands of dollars, maybe more. :)
