Landlords in Durham, NC, I am contemplating to open a property to Section 8 tenants and was wondering how you rate the Durham Housing Authority to work with.

And you can set it up to either have stickers/permits for authorized vehicles, call-to-tow, or a service where they monitor the lot (if its big enough to warrant this). 

I did some research and found where PG County's Housing Authority will pay up to $2,900 for a 4 bedroom under their voucher program (WOW!).

But as author Rita Mae Brown observed back in the 1980s: If the world were a logical place, men would ride side saddle.

Only the state real estate commission has the authority to say if it is illegal or not, no local city or county entity has jurisdiction over the process.

Are you giving them the authority to spend $75/month and be in charge of your assets? 

If you wait until government is working again it will happen.And nope they have no idea when they can get paid for their work again, let alone pay for single minor contracts, and they will not guess when Congress and the President can learn to play nice with each other.

The advise to just use other people’s money (OPM) has been put forth by gurus and authors since I first became involved in real estate in 1976.

It has really gotten out of hand lately.Ya I hear congress is finally taking this up.. so maybe they will get throttled a little bit.. its pervasive in the real estate industry and travel that's for sure..
