Another method besides mentioned above for CA residents, though very convoluted and many steps is to put those properties into land trusts for privacy of ownership.

Hello all,  I am in the process of refinancing my primary residence to use the equity for an investment property and I was wondering what is the typical equity required, on your primary residence, to be able and secure an additional loan for said investment property.

Agents are needed to open up the doors and it give a sense of security when you have someone who is licensed entering in the property with their client.

I would rather put my money into other investments (stocks, peer-to-peer lending, etc) that consistently return 8+% and look into other alternate methods of gaining experience. 

Without having any experience should I try to take on multiple deals or should I secure my Indiana deal first, then go from there?
