Of course, since logistics affect economics, it's a lower cost product here, but may not be elsewhere.On a project I did many moons ago (albeit for an owner occupant) we used oak in the primary living areas, cherry in the kitchen and Southern Yellow Pine in the master bedroom.

We were going to build, but my husband died 30 years ago and I just didnt do anything with it.My children will probably sell when I'm gone which negates capital gains.I'm 82, in good health.....so who knows?
