This is not cheap greenboard or modern cement board construction.Here's my fix for this problem.I've had access to the back of the valve and the copper supply lines when I've done this, another nice feature of these built-for-the-GIs housing units.

I have a loan officer telling me he doesn’t recommend a heloc because of the variable interest rate, but when listening to the podcast, I’ve heard the guys favor a heloc and it just seems like the top choice of people I’ve talked to in similar situations.

I checked on my neighbors land vs improvement value and generally it seems like their improvement value is higher than their land value.I haven’t called the assessors office to dispute that because I want to know what makes more sense: to depreciate more on my taxes or to increase my property tax bill.If I understand correctly, depreciation is roughly improvement / land value * purchase price?
