They have been net sellers, in addition to downsizing their staffs...It doesn't mean they aren't still long RE, but it means something if they aren't buying anything and/or have decided to cull their herds.

I'd suggest to look for english speaking staff who typically work with foreigners so they are used to non-residents... even if you speak french.

When evaluating them make sure to ask questions such as how many properties they manage, how long they have been doing business, what type of property management software they use, what level of support staff exists and what systems they have in place to protect you.
