@Andrew Neal I have 9 Airbnb units in mammoth lakes right now, which is a pretty comparable market (skiing in the winter, people visiting Yosemite in the summer) I have definitely found higher occupancy and higher overall return for smaller properties with lower nightly pricing.

My brother's family owns a few very nice homes in a resort market that he rents out.

Here is why I want to join:You become part of a mastermind circle of which you can compare ideas and get feedback, etc from very high net worth individualsYou can surround yourself with like minded people (hard to find in my rural area)They help you develop your goals and more importantly hold you accountable with weekly callsThey also do bucket list adventures like heli skiing, mountaineering, and epic travel  Has anyone had experience with this group.  

Honestly, I think Amazon should pick a place like Denver (Due to its outdoor activities like hiking, skiing etc that's very attractive for young professionals) or the northeast like Boston with its rich history and good public transportation system. 

He didn't do it because it was some secret amazing strategy, he did it as a last resort.

However i haven't decided to go that route yet and its a last resort.

One of my hs classmates makes a good profit on an AirBnB he runs out of a second unit in his own home, he is big into the hiking scene like @Al Bigonia , and has many guests who come here for that or skiing.

Especially considering the no income tax (you just make up for it in property taxes)We do have some great growing cities, amazing schools (public and private), the white mountains, skiing and beaches so I would say NH typically has more of a draw for those looking for recreational activities. 

Many foreigners live in resort destinations such as Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta.

From there I would just say treat it like a business, and the sky's the limit.
