At what point do I call the police if there's a legitimate worry regarding their safety or the safety of their two kids?

I’m going to call around today when management offices open up and see what their fees are

Do you rent an office? 

Choose an office with a lot of successful agents.

I personally tell all my police officers friends to do this because it is an extra way to make money without doing all the work, just need to send the name, phone number, email address and if possible mailing address.

Here in Oregon we are all Brokers and then there is the Principal Broker who has to review everything we do as brokers in the office. 

Their warehouse/office is right around the corner. 

Would checking the county's record office suffice?

The house is a little over 1100 sqft with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room, dining room, and office.
