I wanted to get away from the kitschy beach-shack look in my condo: After much delay in remodeling I FINALLY listed my condo on Friday, March 7th, 10:40PM.

Also the Fed will end MBS or Mortgage Back Securities purchases in March of this year and will start selling off the bonds they bought in past years, this too will lead to mortgage interest rate increases. 

The Fed was reported by the Wall Street Journal that they are going to raise rates in mid March.

Agent gave us an ARV of 1.2-1.4 million when the renovations are complete (end of March/early April).This is where I hope to get some advice on our current residence that we are going to have rented out OR what I am hoping to do, is to operate it as an STR.1.

I have a primary residence I’m closing on in March that I’m concerned this deal could somehow mess with.

A recent project of mine went under contract, multiple offers in 4 days, offer accepted above asking.We aren’t seeing the mania we saw last February/March when I was receiving 32 offers on a listing, but we almost back there.The cold weather is always the indicator of when the market picks up.

Hopefully pass the exam in March and be fully licensed by summer(?)

For me there is an upside for my Washington DC properties, the freeze on rent increases ends at the end of the month and I do have renewals in February and March.

I have a lease ending in February that will switch to month to month March 1st.
