looking back I got a decent deal but it took too long to close and I need to find a team for the long term to accumulate fourplexes or build them.I'm wondering if people involved are just washing their hands if my deal rather than grow from it.Emails from before closing were insane looking back on it.

Is it worth holding the property for long term appreciation ?

Unlike tenants on a year long lease you will be managing quite a bit of turnover on a vacation rental.

I only turned off Instant booking during Covid.It been back on for a long time.My Vrbo account manager also said be sure to offer a 10% discount on week or longer stays to help boost your search position. 

Also is this for a long-term DSCR loan or a bridge/ rehab loan?

I am looking to buy a single family long-term rental in the San Antonio, TX area.

I have a long term tenant who I inherited when I purchased the property he has always called us whenever there was an issue (A/C not working, Broken window, toilet not working etc) Well last night around 8:30 pm we received a call from him that he called a plumber to remove roots from the sewer line and wants us to pay the bill. 

I would think a lender views the STR as a higher risk simply because a long-term tenant has a defined lease in place, that is usually 6 months or more in duration.
