It seems that a lot of the government's response has been to 'pass the buck' to landlords instead of equally distributing any hardship.

Government loans are going to tighten and the route will be conventional as gov will be done for a while.

Taxes are taxes and taxes you must pay for governments to allow you to be in Real Estate.

I have read a number of articles that seem to suggest there is a possibility that some type of mortgage deferment could be part of another stimulus/relief package/government directive but that is certainly not written in stone at this point. 

I’m not sure if it’s all government home loans, or just renovation loans.

Also, If Cradle to Grave Welfare Wanda has 10 kids who also go on Cradle to Grave Welfare, and the Federal government increases your taxes to give to them as Free Handouts, it's no different than the Begging Hobo Bob illustration. 

There's dozens of threads regarding this but with the just passed relief bill from the federal government, they should be receiving some funds they can put towards rent.

The Court is the judicial branch of the government. 

Should a landlord refuse to accept help from the government, have no savings and no emergency fund; well that's on them. 

The government has put a series of protections in place to protect property owners, in an attempt to avoid a housing downturn, which makes me optimistic for the future.
