My wife recently just landed a job at the university that we both graduated from.

But if you own a 4 bedroom home near a university, it's the reality of your market.But I think a law like this is a civil rights violation imposed by annoyed neighbors.

I was hoping to buy it directly in my name but I was also told that my global income would become taxable in the US.

That is huge considering the university charges about 5000/semester.

As long as their following the country laws and regulatin the project are done in, the responsibility regarding investors home country is the investor responsibility should I think.Appreciate your answer from a global point, not from inside country point.

The multiple universities in my investment area makes for a strong job force and higher income than other areas nearby.
