@Eric Gar - First, whatever you do, I hope it is based on defined (and preferably documented) criteria such as credit score, income, pet policy, past evictions, and references and not on age or familial status.

Best way to change the rule is to be on the architectural committee or on the HOA board.It might also be possible to use a different window supplier with different pricing.If those two wont work for you, then you have to pay the money.

But to property issues, is the type of loan available IAW written loan policies of the lender, is that what they normally take, in this case, mobile homes, most lenders can do mobiles, they can be done as FHA, VA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, USDA and under portfolio requirements, so long as they include land, taxed as RE.
