The problem with short term is that through my research I literally found no AirBNB listings in his neighborhood, which happens to be a nice quiet neighborhood.

There are so many scammers out there, especially dealing with single-family home investments.By the way, I doubt you'll get much response on this platform because there are countless capital groups promoting similar deals.

I asked about a recent deal, and he was proud to tell me he’s just in the middle of his first.A local RE broker found an “old lady” who owned her home free and clear but with $83k in back taxes owed.

Her not leaving is his problem now, but if he leaves, I bet she stays.

His stance is that there would be no point as any depreciation would just be carried forward to future years.
