I have 22 STRs, and currently have 56 tenants.  54 tenants are working a special job at a local refinery. 

Or should I just give up now and wait 7 years to even think about this instead of preparing every single day for the day I can dive head first into this world?

You will hear from others that the 203k takes long and is pain staking - that normally comes from not being prepared.  

As long as you have options and are prepared to use them, you’re probably okay.

For me, I work a full time job M-F 9am-6pm so I prepare my day the night before.

However if the LLC is a partnership for income tax purposes, then the LLC will have to track your built-in gain separately and account for this when doing the allocations / preparing the K-1s, which can get very complex.
