they're not mutually exclusive. crowdfunding is just a different method of raising capital, and there are many different types of crowdfunding. some platforms raise it for you, others want you to list the deal, but you have to raise it yourself.

Hello, I am new to the BiggerPockets platform and new to real estate investing.

If it stems from mis-management it might be an opportunity.  

I was set on the issue stemming from the electric company I filed a report on BBB to report the high costs.Fast-forward to this year and continued complaints I decided to hire an electrician to come out and check out the underlying issues…sure enough he discovered all and more of the issues that was initially reported by the home inspector that a major fire hazards.

I can see that this platform is really going to help me in my journey.
