We certainly did not accrue the capital we needed, but it taught us an important lesson about VCs and Partners: If you are truly prepared to stand behind an awful idea, you should also be fully prepared to fund it yourself!

I had been trying to stress to people the importance of asking and knowing why behind everything as opposed to just just wanting someone to tell them the answer.

It is important to realize that everything in town is only walking distance away, the town is surrounded by both NFS and open space, and there is a limit on how high you can build. 

I think it's important to share these stories along with the successful "wholesaler" stories out there. 

Most importantly you need to list at the right price.

I would say the current rents arent as important as what the market rents are for the area .  

We will need some helping this journey along the way but I am a quick learner and really get passionate about things that are important to me.
