My hope is that real estate investing will be a way to achieve my own goals and also provide a model of success for my daughter as well.I would love to hear from anyone else in the area on how they are seeing the current market.  

Just remember that 99% of "deals" arent really deals this is even with Turnkey models.  

So change your model a little.

And, with the advent of technological advancement it's more manageable than perceived with the naked eye.I still own stocks and always will and only buy those that pay dividends, again, my choice/model.
