I'm about to relocate physically to Los Angeles for job and girlfriend-future wife, whom is interested in investing as well but isn't enamored with Syracuse because she doesn't want to travel back and forth (some of this is under-education on her part about investing, but I'm working on that, lol).

This video about the Memphis Medical District goes into great depth about the opportunity for quality housing providers in the medical district area (especially for multifamily investors).  

I live frugally and have travelled all over the country doing seasonal marine bio gigs, eventually leading me from Charleston, SC to the Dominican Republic to now, Alaska.  

He chalks it up to him having medical issues during those times and not being able to look for tenants (plausible).  

More importantly make sure whatever contractor that you use is insured for medical and liability since that can cost you much more than a few extra bucks in taxes if someone gets hurt and tries to sue you. 

Dingo won't bitePromise :) Actually, there is 1 good thing in Toledo - neuro-surgery department at the university medical school is better than average.

In general, we've found that most folks who are traveling/vacationing with pets have been very respectful, and appreciative that they are able to bring them along.

You DO have to make the minimum payments, and if you don't pay off the entire balance before the promotional period ends, you will be charged the entire amount of interest for the entire life of the loan starting at day one.This is a great way to earn extras life travel benefits, but only if you can pay off the charges every month.
