Since, properties before 1978 are almost certain to have lead based paint, is this geico's way of saying we won't give umbrella insurance to properties older than 1978( unless lead is completely removed)interestingly,  the primary homeowners insurance policy on this property didnt have any lead based issues, but the umbrella insurance company does!

Sometimes lenders have a substantially more favorable down payment structure for second homes or vacation properties than on rental properties, so you might speak with your go-to VA lender to see what the policy is on 2nds and vacation properties. 

Make sure to follow the safety instructions.

She really belongs in a nursing home, with fire safety and an evacuation plan if there were to be a fire. 

Might be a good idea to talk with 3-4-5 brokers to see what their thoughts or policies are.Of course taking all the coursework will likely make you smarter. 

Off topic @Edward Liu but I received an email yesterday that aidbnb has lifted cancelation policies in China and Japan.

My question is this; Above Landlord Insurance, is it recommended to also carry an umbrella policy?  

Shouid I get a personal lines, DP policy ?

@Kimberly Fisher  Your insurance seems high for a rental, even my most expensive policy is less than $100/month-most are half of that for places that are similarly price (or were when I bought them).
