I'd say let them know where your line is (if it isn't changing or is...) - and hold it firm.

This always worries me to put my primary residence on the line and my goal is to own my primary residence free and clear.2) Partner with someone on a commercial office space (house hack) and use part of the commercial space for another business. 

Have a main stock line - sewage - leaking in my property, need a plumber that can inspect it w snake / video and fix it without breaking walls.

@Benjamin Black In this situation I recommend getting a home equity line of credit.

@Jonathan Hernandez in both scenarios you are borrowing the down payment and a line of credit for the rehab.
