I posted this because I know some people are in a market that isn't very investment friendly, and are looking other places to put their money.

Just be sure you are working with an investor-friendly lender and everything will be easier.

They may lie on their application, or it could come through a boyfriend/girlfriend/friend that moves in afterward.

Instead find some friends or family members who have retirement funds sitting in money market account, teach them about self-directed IRA and offer them 6% interest secured by real property, that would be win-win!

I still have friends in college and my girl friend still has two more years of schooling for her master's degree which makes finding tenants fairly easy.

I think you can even still bring a friend!!

Hi LeAnna.If you have an investor friendly real estate agent working with you, he or she should be able to put you in touch with some hard money lenders.

This could lead to a future event that optionee comes up and buy my property at a stipulated price.Currently, I have heard a few things:- Title company: they say there have been a few transactions after this Option, there should be no issue, but this is not covered by insurance- an unpaid legal advice from a local lawyer: this is a defected title, should cancel the purchase- Realtor: we will try to remove this, but this is not an important issue- Realtor friends: No.

Of course it’s always best to check with your local Assessor’s Office, we are actually pretty friendly people contrary to popular belief:)
