. :-)I reinvest all profits, just was thinking this could help make decisions more black and white.Paying a handyman $30/hr for 20hrs($600) hurts, compared to doing it myself for free, but If I had to pay myself $1,000, the numbers (my business bank account) would show that the correct choice is to hire it out.

I should point out that the offers I had made were for fix and flips, prior to any news of me traveling to Japan over the summer for work.So now I’m part way into executing my original plan and I’m wondering whether or not I’m making the right choices.

Hey Matt,The first thing that I'd say is that the tool you're using is not the MLS, it's a company that buys data from the MLS and then displays it for consumers.If your choice is between Redfin and the local MLS (which is called MRIS in the DC area), then the MLS will have a slight advantage just based on the sheer amount of data that's available for any given property.

Or you could rip a short piece of flat trim to the thickness you can allow and do a similar treatment.BTW, Allure is a great flooring choice if you haven't put it in yet.
