Does this play a role?

I think yourself and investors like @Matt R. as well as any others who post advice on running calculations and numbers play a vital role when determining if a property meets an investors needs.  

I want to know the limitation of my role as an agent: what not to do or what to do as an agent. 

why would you even look at this if they won't show you rent roles and other actuals?

I'm Justin, and I'm actively seeking to switch from my current analyst position in healthcare to a similar role in large commercial real estate.

They could sell and do the 1031 and then refinance the new property and use those proceeds to pay down the mortgage on the property they already own.It does feel like a wheels spinning exercise if all they want to do is reduce debt overall.  

What if you could find deals or raise capital for syndicators and work your way into a GP role and learn / earn?  

Sure but need more details on just what you are trying to do and what role you are playing.  

I'm researching property management companies in the area that I'm interested in investing in, and one of the property managers I talked to said that he's also a real estate agent, and would like to help me buy a house in addition to managing the house.Is this dual-role situation common?
