I reminded him that he had already gotten paid 20k in commissions and that I would likely be losing money on the deals.

- look at my death clock - I have a countdown clock that counts down the days, hours, minutes and seconds to my deal (I picked my 90th b-day) - it reminds me that every second countsAnd, each week I: - interview 9 real estate investors for my real estate investing podcast (been doing a daily podcast for over 1,800 days now)- read something about apartment syndication that someone else publishes either a blog article, book, or read the transcript of a podcast 

I remind them often that your time is worth something and "time is money." 

I'll provide an email with a list of important things to do along the way and deadlines for each, then I'll call with regular updates and reminders.

Highly recommend to all investors.Homeowners Associations: Last Week Tonight with John Oliver (HBO)It also reminded me how critical it is to keep all the rental records and receipts!!! 

It is the primary tool I use for managing text, email, and RVM communications, as well as reminders for me (or someone else) to reach out directly.
