You have a lot of nicer suburbs in the NW burbs that have great schools and pricey homes.

My name is Santiago Ortega, I just graduated from school and I want to get into wholesaling, I’m almost done getting my real estate license so I have some knowledge on real estate in general.

I know at least for the next 2-3 years I can rent to my friends and then after graduation, being in a college town there should always be a steady influx of new people in need of housing.

They look for young and driven ivy league graduates.

It's these same racist attitudes that can keep us, (AAs), from getting loans to become homeowners, where our kids can get access to better schools, in turn affecting their higher education, & last, their standard of living as adults. 

In 2002 I was 19 and invested $50,000 I had saved to purchase a 5 unit apartment building across for Eastern Michigan Universities Business School.  

I hope to move full time into real estate after this school year.

@Steven Wilson I have heard about 2 schools of thought regarding college rentals. 

It's a good rental income generator, but since school is all online right now, we only have it partially rented.

The guy turned out to be 100% just old school... 2B worth company, no site, no social, nothing.
