I'm currently house hacking a single family house with a mother-in-law apartment, and it is working great right now, and I didn't have to compete with 100s of offers or over paying on a multi since those are harder to find where the numbers make sense.  

My mother-in-law grew up in Shively.

My mother has a mortgage on half of a duplex where she only owes 60k on.

We want to make the downstairs a “mother-in-law suite” or whatever it’s called, so we want to put in a kitchenette downstairs.It’s 1115 41st in Ogden UT.  

If mother luck shines about 2 months more, our goal of flipping until we can pay cash might come true.

I’m now in charge of flipping my mother in laws house in Frisco, TX a 4/2 2000 sq ft. starter home over the Holidays.

I am working on one in Kearns right now where we are adding a separate mother in law above a 4 car garage.

2018- Started this year as a security officer at a local university to take advantage of the tuition discount so that my wife could continue on with her education and she was able to finish graduate school and become a nurse practitioner.
