I have heard that Chicago is slow to get through building processes like permits and violations.

A structure PE approval should be on the permit application.

Those are public record, and IF (if, if, if) there’s a violation or permit or note in the files, then seller could argue that you Should have known.

Here's the three things I know1) my relator there says that Estes Park limits there short term rental permits and that I should not count on being able to get one.2) month to month or anything long term is hard for renters to find bc of a rental shortage.3) tourists to Estes Park and RM national Park percentage increases are going through the roof each year. 

The way I understand renovations in a house, you will need to get a permit for the work you want done.

IRS rules do not permit disqualified person to provide a guarantee for the loan to the IRA, therefore the loan must be non-recourse, which means there is no personal guarantee, the only security for the loan is underlying property.

Some of our projects needs to have permits pulled and investors are not allowed to do so as owner builder. 

I feel very comfortable with everything as far as the actual work and construction portion (it's all work I've done/managed before).What I'm unfamiliar with is the legal process (permitting, inspections, occupancy, etc).

Home builder who I contacted was transparent and expects they will make about $100K of profit and the rest of it will be spent in the construction process including charges for architect, permitting, building, finishing, landscaping etc.

I need to know what requirements we would need to build and run an assisted living community including: -Licensing requirements-building requirements-What grants, perks, waivers can be absorbed-facility requirements-state/federal requirements-safety issues/requirements-permit requirementsAnd anything else that would be geared toward an assisted living facility.Where can I find this info out?
