I plan to hire a property manager for this as I travel for work. 

Over this past project I quit my full salary & benefits travel-every-week job to pursue real estate full time- never looking back! 

My goal is to eventually have a vacation property in over 100 locations (multiple properties in some) that I can travel between as I will be financially free and can enjoy various vacation hubs while still collecting cash flow.   

Try to get them back to back to minimize the disruption to the current tenant and your travel time.

Do you have family in Seattle, or any reason to travel there regularly?

It seems like there are so many of us now, I wish it was this prevalent when I joined the Navy but then I wouldn't have gotten the opportunity to travel so much and enjoy my time flying! 

The one specialist in the country that can possibly get her better is in Portland, but it's an experimental treatment that's extremely expensive and we cannot solve how to afford that, her apartment in KC, travel, etc.

It will be a little bit more work and you'll have to travel up there regularly but you should be able to find something that will cashflow for you. 

My goal in starting this new venture are as follows:- Be able to earn $50k a month (either thru my own efforts or by putting together a sales team)- Build a business that has leverage and can scale up- Have it run without me present for day to day operationTomorrow (7/8) I will be traveling to Phoenix to start looking at some properties and areas so I can start my mapping and marketing. 

Last year we put them under property management due to my frequent government travel.
