Hi Everyone, Background:I own a tri-plex in los angeles... rent controlled.. one of the tenants lived there when i acquired the property.. his rent is 750.00 - current rate is approx 3k He has full access to the only Garage on the building, an additional parking spot, and a great size yard...

Now I'm not advocating that you go out willy-nilly buying every piece of real estate in the hopes that you'll have a winner in there but my point is that you have to do the best you can, do the deals that you think have a low probability of being a loser and gain experience that will give you the skills and the access to the home runs and grand slams.If you read the books and follow the blogs and even some forum posts you might think that everybody hits home runs on their first try.

Even people who can still afford to vacation will find a less expensive/more accessible place to go.Or, as @Lucas Carl mentioned, large properties designed for groups will probably take a big hit, as it'll be harder for all parties to spend the money to vacation together.I feel pretty secure with mine.
