I have two kids, a wife and a full time job that does not support us at a local university.

Additionally, the University of Arizona and the TLA is doing a much better job keeping companies that are started from research done at University in Tucson rather than watching it leave to bigger markets.

Searched Bloomington/Normal, IL area near Illinois State University.  

The condo is in bicycle distance of a university, walking distance to a grocery store, restaurants, movie theater, and 15 minute drive to the beach.  

Unfortunately, CAREI (now called Colorado REIA) was recently sold and is now affiliated with the Investor's Edge University folks (search Dwan Bent-Twyford and Bill Twyford).  

My original goal after my trip was to go to Montana State University for mechanical engineering with some sort of business minor.
