I absolutely can't stand people who get handouts, then still find a way to complain. $1,300 a month will allow you to finance a brand new Porsche Cayman GTS, Corvette Z06, Tesla, any BMW, Mercedes, Audi you want every 6 years for the rest of your life..You can take a one week all inclusive trip to Mexico, the Bahamas etc., every single month for the rest of your life..

Put a sign in the front yard, TV ads, newspaper ads, stand on street corners and hand out flyers, hold open houses if you want.

Eventually, it will lead to great things.However, based on my limited experience, the single most important factor in all of this is nobody wants to give you a free hand out if they think you don't deserve it.  

They are usual pretty good at giving you handouts at the sale on what you need to do.

Then if applicants ask you about the requirements and application process, hand out the criteria.

Maybe I should add some wording to my tenant criteria handout that includes something about an acceptable home visit but I am not sure what wording would be fair and appropriate.
