I currently live in TX. where the laws seem to better empower the landlord to handle evictions and other tenant issues as they arise. 

I like your concept of helping to empower women as I have the same philosophy in construction with women.

The Ideas Already in place: -Brokers -Online websites such as equity funding platforms -Private Banking Firms -Relationships PPM document creator has with other investors -Forums-Companies that sell lists-Opt-in accredited investor databases-Firms that do the marketing with you (must be licensed)-FINRA broker-dealers-Individual securities brokers-Registered Investment Advisers-Private equity firms-"finders" for capital.

The only thing politicians love more than kissing babies is jobs, and solar is one of the fastest job creators right now, so incentivizing the solar industry plays well politically.

It's about empowering people and that, to me, is awesome.I will give you my gut reaction - and maybe it is just based on my experiences and where I'm at now but -- to me it sounds like Rent-to-Own OR Lease-Option-to-Buy.

Granted, those meetups are marketed specifically at newer investors who don't quite know what they're up against: a platform to empower newer investors to get started saving capital, doing market research and lock down their first deal(s).
